AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta Gassen is an annual singing competition between two AKB48G teams – Red and White. The competition is known for unusual song arrangements & costumes and many guests. The 7th competition took place on 2017-12-10 at Tokyo Dome City Hall and was also broadcast on TV on 2018-01-20.

The Blu-Ray version contains the main concert (split into disc 1 and disc 2) and the second disc also contains a 78-minute making-of feature + a hidden 14-minute fixed camera video.
